IMC listed #23 on the Sunday Times Hiscox Track Tech 100

UK-BASED INTERNET MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS Ltd (IMC) is delighted to have been listed in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.  Published yesterday, the 19th annual Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s private technology, media and telecoms (TMT) fastest growing companies.

Based in Chelmsford, IMC is listed at number 23 and offers a unique blend of voice, SMS, data and fintech services to the international telecommunications industry.

Mark Stewart, CEO, said, “We are truly delighted to have made the listing and it is a reflection of the triple-digit growth that we have achieved since we launched our Platform as a Service – Bank of Telecom® – in 2015 and more recently, the world’s first regulated, blockchain-based international settlement service, BoTCoin® Market. We remain committed to delivering new products and VASs to our growing customer base via the Bank of Telecom and BoTCoin Market, which brings significant operational and financial benefits.

In recent years, IMC have expanded their operations internationally opening up offices in India, Chile and Malta in addition to moving into bigger offices in Chelmsford.  This expansion reflects IMC’s growth year-on-year as it continues to welcome new carriers onto Bank of Telecom month after month, now serving over 1300 carriers worldwide.

We are extremely proud to have put IMC and Chelmsford on the map and are in excellent company with organisations such as Revolut and TransferWise also making the list too. Past stars range from travel search engine Skyscanner, which was bought by Ctrip, China’s largest travel company, for £1.4bn in 2016, to online supermarket and tech company Ocado, now floated at a market cap of £8.6bn.

The Tech Track 100 is sponsored by Hiscox, Barclays, BDO, BGF and N+1 Singer, and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based research and networking events firm.
